What’s it all about?
The Marazion Triathlon is run by Tempus Leisure who is a partner in the Jubilee Pool Coastal Communities Fund Project. In 2015 the event will support the Friends of Jubilee Pool, in Penzance, by helping to raise funds.
The aim is to encourage participants to donate or raise sponsorship to support the Friends of Jubilee Pool’s SAVE OUR LIDO campaign which is aiming to contribute £160,000 to the restoration project. ‘The purpose of the project is to restore, repair and reinvigorate the Jubilee Pool in Penzance, to enable it to become better utilised and support a range of activities including the provision of training, volunteering, festivals, events and sports.’ SeeJubilee Pool Website for details.
